CSA Partners Italy’s Cyber 4.0 to Advance Ghana’s National Cybersecurity Policy Implementation

Ghana is stepping up efforts to strengthen its cybersecurity posture following a high-level stakeholder workshop held in Accra, organized by the Cyber Security Authority in partnership with Italy’s Cyber 4.0.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders to advance the implementation of Ghana’s National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy (NCPS). Discussions were centered on three core pillars: increasing awareness of the NCPS, strengthening operational capabilities, and deepening international collaboration.

Participants engaged in group sessions that generated practical insights and recommendations. These contributions will be consolidated into a comprehensive report outlining clear, measurable, and actionable steps to guide future efforts and enhance Ghana–Italy cooperation in executing the NCPS.

The event attracted high-profile dignitaries, including the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George; Italy’s Ambassador to Ghana, Laura Ranalli; Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority, Divine Selease Agbeti; and Director of Cyber 4.0, Matteo Lucchetti.

Also in attendance were members of the Joint Cybersecurity Committee of Ghana, representatives from the Industry Forum, and other key stakeholders, underscoring a collective commitment to building a more resilient and secure digital ecosystem in the country.
