Cybersecurity Tip of the Day

Never trust urgent messages asking for money or sensitive information.

Cybercriminals often impersonate banks, government agencies, or even your boss using emails, calls, or messaging apps. They create panic with phrases like “act now” or “your account will be blocked” to trick you into responding.

Stay safe:

  • Always verify requests through official channels (call the organization directly)
  • Don’t click suspicious links or download unknown attachments
  • Never share OTPs, PINs, or passwords with anyone

Remember: Legitimate institutions will never pressure you to act immediately or request sensitive details through unsecured channels.
