The ISACA Accra Chapter is set to host the 2026 IT Governance Summit, bringing together Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Managing Directors (MDs), industry leaders, subject matter experts and professionals across the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), IT Audit and Assurance, and Cybersecurity sectors.
The summit will provide a platform for industry professionals and technology leaders to network, exchange knowledge and gain practical insights into the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Themed “Governing the Future: AI and Emerging Technologies and the Trust Economy,” the summit will focus on the growing importance of effective governance as organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Participants are expected to explore developments and emerging trends in AI governance, IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, audit and assurance, as organizations seek to build trust while navigating the opportunities and risks associated with new technologies.
According to the ISACA Accra Chapter, the event will feature expert-led sessions designed to provide actionable insights and enhance participants’ understanding of best practices and emerging trends shaping the future of IT and AI governance.
The summit is scheduled for Friday, 18 September 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. GMT at the Fiesta Royale Hotel, Dzorwulu, Accra.
